I resolve to intentionally mentor three  college students.  I used to get together with these guys more regularly, and have allowed my busy schedule to keep me from being involved in their lives more consistently.

I, as a member of the Marlboro MBA Malawi Travel Team, commit to officially launching the Daughters of Toleza Scholarship fund this January, where a donation of only $150/year will provide one year of high school tuition, books and uniform to a deserving young girl living in rural southern Malawi.  Please join in to support this effort by contacting me thru the Marlboro MBA in Managing for Sustainability.

I can’t stand watching people suffering. I resolve to become a doctor because I want to help people, to save them, to ease their suffering. In July I will take the university entrance exam. It’s really really hard to get into the medical university. And on top of it, I’m a super lazy boy so it’s even harder for me. But I know that I have the ability and as long as I pull myself together, I can do it. For this is the path I have chosen, I will put aside my interests and study as hard as I can.

I resolve to renew my commitment to making a positive change in the education crisis in our country by actively participating in at least one service activity in a local Philadelphia school and by working harder to achieve my own goals of working in and contributing to the field.
