My resolution for 2011 is to show more initiative, to lend a helping to others without them coming to me for help first. I also hope to take part in more volunteering activities to help those in need.

I resolve to focus on possibilities, not details…keep my school centered under difficult circumstances, offer time to the local no-kill shelter, judge no one, love and support our far flung family in their diverse ways of life…and look for the good stuff every day.

I resolve to put more effort in creating bridges between the many communities I belong to, through service. Only through collaboration can we hope to improve the world around us, and I want to see us taking more steps to work with people we don’t normally interact with.
