One of my resolutions in 2011 is to continue volunteering with Good Works Inc., a nonprofit organization which exists to improve the living conditions for low-income families in Chester County. There is no cost to the homeowners and the volunteers do all the repairs.

This year I will smile more often to everyone. Also, I will volunteer at a local hospital, nursing home, and a school for children with disabilities. Then, I will continue to help young children succeed in this world.

I resolve to continue my involvement with Royal Family Kids’ Camp an organization that provides free summer camps for the abused, neglected and abandoned kids in foster care throughout the USA. Why don’t you seek out a camp in your area and become involved by visiting http://www.rfkc.org You can make a difference in the life of a special child – but watch out – that child will make a difference in you.

As I continue my committment to the volunteer work that I do I will make a new committment to myself. I will take the time for meditation and daily wellness rituals so that I can continue the very exciting work of opening a mental health drop-in center. These daily rituals will include eating a healthy diet and getting excercise regularly. I am needed and it is important that I take my volunteer committment seriously by taking care of myself first.
